The Chelsea 489XWAHX-P3XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
