The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off (part 288GDFJW-M5RK or 288GDFJWM5RK) is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the 281 Series platform. The 288 Series delivers a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft and offers nine speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. The standard output shaft is a round shaft with a 1-inch, 1/4-inch key configuration. A positive-stop feature on driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from shaft couplings.
