The Chelsea 288GGFJW-M5RF or 288GGFJWM5RF is a 10-bolt, constant mesh power take-off built on the 288 Series platform. This series features a cast iron housing and wider gears with larger-capacity bearings, delivering a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. The ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. The round output shaft includes a positive stop to prevent oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. The Wet Spline lubrication option extends pump shaft life by 7 to 10 times by circulating clean oil through the PTO and pump shaft. This 288 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 287 Series.
