The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off (part 288GGFJW-M5RS or 288GGFJWM5RS) is a heavy-duty, 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the 281 Series platform. Wider gears and larger-capacity bearings support a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. The output shaft is a round shaft with a 1-1/4" key. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. The standard output includes a positive stop to prevent oil seal damage from shaft couplings.
