The Chelsea 221 Series Power Take-Off, part number 221XCAJP-X3XK or 221XCAJPX3XK, is a 6-bolt mounted PTO built for low-speed, heavy-duty applications such as dump trucks, tow and recovery, and aerial equipment. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway delivers up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) intermittent torque, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Hino, and others. Cast iron housing with tapered cone output bearings provides greater load-bearing capability than needle-bearing designs. Greaseable pump shafts help reduce spline fretting and corrosion. Call us to confirm the correct fit for your application.

Chelsea 221 Series model break down
The 221 Series features a cast iron housing and tapered cone output bearings for long service life in demanding vocational cycles. The low-profile housing option is available where underhood clearance is limited. The series supports continuous operation with a 30% torque de-rating applied. Twenty-six output configurations are available across the 221 Series family, including Chelsea's 360-degree rotatable flange. Typical applications include dump trucks, tow and recovery rigs, and aerial equipment. Note: Parker Chelsea lists the 221 Series as obsolete; contact Pro Gear and Transmission to confirm current availability and to verify fit for your specific transmission.
