The Chelsea 442XFITX-V5XD or 442XFITXV5XD is a 442 Series Power Take-Off built for light-to-medium duty vocational applications. The 442 Series mounts to virtually all existing 6-bolt transmission applications and uses a wire/cable mechanical shift. A cast iron housing and tapered cone bearings on the output shaft give the series its intermittent torque rating of 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), with output power in the 46-55 HP range. The round output shaft accepts a 1-inch, 1/4-inch key. Common applications for the 442 Series include dump trucks, tow trucks, service trucks, and aerial units.
