The Chelsea 447 Series is suited for aerial, vocational, municipal, and other mobile equipment applications including utility trucks, dump trucks, snow and ice removal equipment, and fire and rescue vehicles. The series offers 26 output options, four internal speed ratios, and eleven shift options. Where required for Eaton FS series or Nissan/UD MLS series transmissions, the 447 Series is available with an adapter or unique installation kit. Continuous torque duty requires a 30% de-rate from the intermittent rating; confirm the correct rating for your vehicle on the Chelsea application pages.
