The Chelsea 489DAMAX-56XV or 489DAMAX56XV is a 489 Series Power Take-Off designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series.
