The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GFAHX-V5RK or 489GFAHXV5RK is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission aperture, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. The 489 Series delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque and shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is 1-1/4" round with key. Common applications include dump trucks, utility trucks, aerial equipment, and snow and ice removal.
