The Chelsea 489GFITX-A5XD or 489GFITXA5XD is an 8-bolt power take-off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate that would otherwise add a potential leak path. The series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM via a 1-1/4 inch round keyed output shaft. Shift operation is wire/cable mechanical.
