The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GWAHX-A5XD or 489GWAHXA5XD mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. This series uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Output is rated at 46-55 HP intermittent, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft and tapered bearings provide strong load-bearing capability across vocational applications such as dump trucks, utility trucks, and snow and ice removal equipment.
