The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GQAHX-V5XD or 489GQAHXV5XD is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path common to earlier designs. This unit uses the wire/cable mechanical shift type and delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft (301 to 400 Nm). Output is rated at 46 to 55 HP (31 to 40 kW). The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for added load capacity.
