The Chelsea 489GRITX-A3AF or 489GRITXA3AF is an 8-bolt power take-off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening and delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and the output options include a 360-degree rotatable flange with a greaseable shaft to reduce pump shaft spline fretting and corrosion.
