The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GRITX-V5XK or 489GRITXV5XK, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings found on Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, Tremec, and similar transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate that adds a potential leak path. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series, including strong tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for improved load handling.
