The Chelsea 489GSAHX-H3XD or 489GSAHXH3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. This series uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features tapered bearings for greater load-bearing capability over needle-bearing designs. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft and delivers up to 46-55 HP output. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
