The Chelsea 489XWAHX-H3XD or 489XWAHXH3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. This series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift is accomplished via wire or cable mechanical linkage.
