The Chelsea 489GSAHX-V3RA or 489GSAHXV3RA is a Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, cutting installation time and eliminating a potential leak path common to adapter-plate designs. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and the wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism keeps the installation straightforward. The series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
