The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GUAHX-A5XD or 489GUAHXA5XD, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO assembly designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same torque capacity as the 442 Series. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft.
