The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GUAHX-P3AK or 489GUAHXP3AK, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft. The 489 Series uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features tapered bearings for greater load-bearing capability compared to needle-bearing designs. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft.
