The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path common on other designs. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and output power of 46-55 HP. Wire/cable mechanical shift and a 1-1/4-inch round keyed output shaft are characteristic of this series.
