The Chelsea 489QAMEX-56XD or 489QAMEX56XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. This unit features wire/cable mechanical shift and a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
