The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path and reducing installation time. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and output power of 46-55 HP, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
