The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489QFLZX-D3XK or 489QFLZXD3XK, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and similar gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths compared to designs that require a separate mounting plate. Output is via a 7/8-13T spline shaft with an SAE B 2-bolt or 4-bolt flange mount. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, using tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability.
