The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489QHLZX-V3AF or 489QHLZXV3AF, is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for the 8-bolt mounting aperture found on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity, and shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft.
