The Chelsea 489QLLZX-D3AF or 489QLLZXD3AF is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing bolts to the transmission opening and eliminates the adapter plate found on older designs, reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity. Shift type for this series is wire/cable mechanical. The Chelsea 489 Series PTO shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series, giving it the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity in a one-piece cast iron housing that installs directly on the 8-bolt transmission opening.
