The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XCAHX-S3XQ or 489XCAHXS3XQ, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on many competing designs, reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) and a wire/cable mechanical shift. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
