The Chelsea 489XCAHX-W3GF or 489XCAHXW3GF is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft, rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability.
