The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XFDAX-H3AF or 489XFDAXH3AF, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate used on many comparable units, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft output power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability. The round 1-1/4" keyed output shaft and wire/cable mechanical shift are standard on this unit.
