The Chelsea 489XFDAX-A3XK or 489XFDAXA3XK is an 8-bolt PTO assembly from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. Shift is air shift. The output is an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
