The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-A5GH or 489XHAHXA5GH, is an air shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for a separate adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for increased load capability. Output is via a greaseable SAE B 2-bolt flange with a 1" 15-tooth SAE BB shaft. Intermittent torque rating for the series runs 201-300 lb-ft. Shift is air shift.
