The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-V5RK or 489XHAHXV5RK, is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, using tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
