The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-V5RY or 489XHAHXV5RY, is built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and removing a potential leak path. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and uses strong tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
