The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XHITX-V3AF or 489XHITXV3AF is a mechanical shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The 489 Series uses a one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and shaft output of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
