The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLITX-A3RA or 489XLITXA3RA, is an 8-bolt air shift PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path that older designs require. The series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Shift is air shift. Output is via a rotatable SAE B 2-bolt flange with a 7/8-inch 13-tooth SAE B shaft. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
