The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XLITX-A5GF or 489XLITXA5GF is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. The series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4-inch round keyed shaft.
