The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XQAHX-M3XK or 489XQAHXM3XK, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is accomplished via wire and cable mechanical linkage. The series supports intermittent torque ratings of 201 to 300 lb-ft and output power of 46 to 55 HP. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
