The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XQITX-S3XD or 489XQITXS3XD, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to compatible manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers 201 to 300 lb-ft of intermittent torque and operates with a wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism. Output is through a 1-1/4 in. round keyed shaft, rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability.
