The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XRAHX-A5GF or 489XRAHXA5GF is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO assembly with a 22/24 gear ratio, built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity, and internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Output is through a 1-1/4 inch round keyed shaft.
