The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRAHX-A5SQ or 489XRAHXA5SQ, mounts directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path and reducing installation time. This unit uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and offers an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical.
