The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GRAHX-A5SQ or 489GRAHXA5SQ is a mechanical shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The 489 Series uses a one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs 201 to 300 lb-ft. The series offers a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft and strong tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
