The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XRAHX-H3RK or 489XRAHXH3RK is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths compared to multi-piece designs. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Intermittent torque capacity for the series runs 201 to 300 lb-ft.
