The Chelsea 489XSAHX-W5XK or 489XSAHXW5XK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening with no adapter plate needed, reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and outputs 46-55 HP shaft power. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round keyed type.
