The Chelsea 489XWITX-A3RF or 489XWITXA3RF is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from Chelsea's 489 Series, designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and output power in the 46-55 HP range. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft.
