The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-A3RF or 489XFAHXA3RF, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on many competing units, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key for secure drive connection. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque rating as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
