The Chelsea 489ZADAX-A5RK or 489ZADAXA5RK is a Power Take-Off assembly from Chelsea's 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The 489 Series uses a one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This series features tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity, and the output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical.
