The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZFDAX-V5SQ or 489ZFDAXV5SQ, is a mechanical shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and uses strong tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft, and the series supports wire/cable mechanical shift. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
