The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZHDAX-H4XK or 489ZHDAXH4XK, is designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening without an adapter plate, eliminating that potential leak path. This unit uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical.
