The Chelsea 489ZQDAX-A5GP or 489ZQDAXA5GP is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing removes the need for a separate adapter, reducing potential leak paths while delivering the same torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. This unit uses wire/cable mechanical shift and features tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for increased load-bearing capability. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft.
