The Chelsea 489ZRDAX-A5GP or 489ZRDAXA5GP is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from Chelsea's 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, cutting potential leak paths at the transmission interface. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. This series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical.
