The Chelsea 489ZQITX-A5RK or 489ZQITXA5RK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for improved load capacity. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and wire/cable mechanical shift operation. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying service.
